Up from the depths, 30-stories tall... Heehee...I wonder if anyone gets that.

Anyway, after an eight month break from Minitokyo, and a four month break from the internet in general, I'm back. Not that that means anything, but I am. Now what's up with this "Free Download Quota" thing? Jeeze, a guy turns off the internet for a few months, and everything's different when he comes back. I miss the good 'ol days. You know, when all we had were books. Books don't go off and change on you, they stay the same even if you put them down for a long time. Remember those? Books? If not, go reaquaint yourselves, it'll do you good.

Now...who's made pretty wallpapers while I was gone?

Quote by WWLAOSVery cool. Love the color scheme and how the red of her outfit really stands out against the whiites, greys, and blacks of the rest of the wallpaper. The arrows and circle things are decent enough...they certainly don't detract from the wallpaper. Just the overall style of Shana, her hair, and the sword are what make this wallpaper so cool. Love it.

Yo! Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you very much for the comment and the fav!
Just thinking of what you comment made me blush. XD
Joking! XD
Thanks again! :)

Quote by WWLAOSThe background looks very nice. The brushed texture is interesting and I like your color choice. The scan...well, I need to break this down into three parts. First, it is a very nice scan thematically. It captures the three characters perfectly and is definitly a good choice for a wallpaper. Second, the scans color is a bit grainy, but actually that fits together beautifully with the background, achieving a very nice overall effect. Third...yeah...the lines of the scan are a bit too jagged, and it really does detract from the wallpaper's overall image. It is a very nice wallpaper, though. Thanks for putting in the work and uploading it for us to enjoy.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I know about that. I'm using laptop, that's why it's hard for me to control the mouse (something's wrong with my mouse).
Thanks again.

Quote by WWLAOSIt's lovely, it's simple, and the soft tones meld wonderfully with both the fluffy background and the scan in the foreground. The tree trunk...I assume it's a tree trunk...doesn't look terribly natural, but it doesn't detract from the overall feel by any means. Overall, a very cute and pleasant wallpaper. I like it.

hiya WWLAOS :)

thanks :D

im glad you think so :D

thank you for the nice comment on my wall Spring Break XD

i really appreciate it and im glad you like my wall :D

i hope you have a lovely day and take care -waves- ^^

Quote by WWLAOSHoly...wow! That is fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. The detail is incredible, the lines are clean and natural, the lighting is beautiful...I....wow. The building to the right has the perfect "ruins" look and the tree is darn spiffy. The outfit looks fantastic, the stairway is realistic, the stone paving on the ground and the weeds shooting through are really impressive, and the hair, along with the sword-hair, is absolutely gorgeous. Simply stunning.

Thank you so very much for putting all that work into this and then uploading it for us to enjoy. I am truly glad I was able to see this.

Wow that's quite a lot of praise lol. Thanks, and also for taking the time to dig through some oldies. It's greatly appreciated!

Hi WWLAOS-san...^^
Thank you for comment in my second wall -= Behind Blue Eyes =-...

Quote by WWLAOSWell, I really like the sky...those clouds look great...and the mountains. The rays of light emanating from the light source are also a really nice touch. The scan, though...it's too fuzzy. Too "out of focus." It's like the camera is...and by association, I should be...focused on something else. But what? The ball of light in her hands? The flower petals...leaves..."things" floating in the air? I don't know, I just think the girl should be more in-focus. It's a nice wallpaper, though, and like I said, I really like the sky and the mountains. Thanks for letting us take a peek at your work.

Hi ^_^
Thanks for your comment in my wallie ^_^
The scan had to be resized by me ,(orinal size was like 3000x5000 or something =p ) so the quality (count focus on that) is not the best... :o
Now that you mentioned it, I guess you're rght :o
The camera's (hey, there's any camera out there anyway? ^_^' )
point of focus shall be the big light, because it's the first thing that calls your attention :)
The ''leaves things'' are supposed to be flower petals... XD
Thanks for your support and I'm very happy you liked it :)
Bye bye ;)

Hello! Thanks for you comment on my thread ' Best Anime First Episodes'. I must see what Scrapped Princess is about then ^.^

Don't you love shows like that - where you just HAVE to get to the end no matter what - have to love being obsessed XP

Oh, and I have to continue watching Last Exile too - I've seen clips of it and looks quite interesting - I like the soundtrack too ^.^

Thanks again!

Quote: Wow, that looks really nice. I love the interplay of the cold and hot colors here...the greens, oranges, yellows, and reds combine for a beautiful effect. The main scan looks great, and the secondary scans all look good too...they add a neat feel to the wallpaper. The tree in particular is really cool. The font you used for the text, and by extension the text itself, looks terrific. Great wallpaper, thanks for uploading your work for us to enjoy. I'm glad I got to see this.

Thank you so much for the insightful comment! I appreciate the time you put into critiquing and paying attention to details. I'm really glad that you liked it. Thanks for the fave as well! ^^

Quote by WWLAOSThe trees in the background look terrific...I have nothing but compliments on those trees. The grass looks good, too, and the path was done nicely. The sun looks nice, but the sky could really use a different color. The wallpaper is way too "hot" color-wise. Too many reds and oranges and yellows. A nice blue sky...and a much-darker tan for the path...would have been the perfect way to diversify the colors in the wallpaper. The scan looks good, though, and is positioned pretty well...though maybe 2 centimeters further left would have been better. Still, this is a very nice-looking wallpaper. I'm glad I got the chance to see it.

heya laos-san! wanna thank you for like my Kyon wallie! *hugs* I really apreciate your nice comment! thanks so much for support ^^ *more hugs*
have a funny time hon, cya!

http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/9393/thanks119no.gif
so nice from you to put a fav XP on my ~*`Singing for my loved one`*~ wall..
so take care and all the best from Di #wink#

Quote by WWLAOSWoah, now that is something you don't see every day. So...angel on a spike, eh? Well, wow. First of all, that silhouette in the background is pretty neat. I take it that's the person responsible for the pretty lady's death. The landscape looks great...nice and barren. The spikes are very nicely done; jutting out in all directions like that and interspersed with weeds. Beautiful. The scan is gorgeuos...even in such an awkward position and with all that detail it is flawless. Nice job with the blood. The lightning looks cool, but the sky...that is downright appocolyptic. Gorgeous sky.

This is a terrific piece of wallpapering. Thanks for uploading your hard work for us to enjoy...this was a real treat to see.

Wow, much thanks for the critique and fav on my wallpaper. I see other people appreciate it as well, but it's great when people actually write feedback critiquing a piece of work in detail. It's good to know what other people think works and what needs improvement.

Back to the wallpaper itself, yes... an angel on a spike. ;) Quite different from my popular pieces, my darker wallpapers don't seem to be appreciated as much even if I spend weeks on just one. Glad you like the landscape though - apocalyptic was exactly what I was aiming for. An angel's curse isn't something to be taken lightly. Hope to see you around!

Quote by WWLAOSOh, very pretty. I love the cross and the sparkly trail. The blue glow around the cross looks really cool, and you blended it perfectly into the background...which, by the way, looks great. The texture you used along with the grey is terrific, and the way it builds out of the black on the far right is a neat effect. Great wallpaper, thanks for letting us take a look at your hard work. Just beautiful.

Thanks for the comments on "Quincy Pride"!

Quote by WWLAOSWow...so beautiful. The vector looks gorgeous. You maintained the color perfectly, and the ghostly wings is an awesome visual effect. Absolutely beautiful. The background is another pleasant surprise. If, 2 minutes ago, someone had told me that seafoam green, orange, white, and brown would look great together, I probably would have fallen down laughing, but...wow. You blended the background perfectly. The birds look great, and I think you used the perfect color for them with respect to the rest of the wall. Brown is usually a strange shoice, but it fits so well here. I also love the script, both the appearance of the characters themselves, and the arrangement throughout the wall. I...wow. I am in awe.

Gorgeous wallpaper. They way you did her wings is my favorite part of the wallpaper, those are just brilliant. Thank you so much for putting all that hard work into this wallpaper and then posting it for us to enjoy. Seeing this was a real treat.

....... WOW! thank you so much for the comment on my Gone with the Wind wallpaper! i mean... waaaah... never had a comment as extensive on any of my pics! thank you so much! :D
i didn't think anyone would see the wings! clear on clear isn't the most visible...

have a nice day!
